Framework Tab
The Framework tab defines the foundational strategic elements that guide your organization. These elements — mission, vision, values, and engagements — provide the “why” behind your plan.
Mission
The Mission section captures your organization’s fundamental purpose — why it exists and who it serves.

Vision
The Vision section describes where your organization wants to be in the future — the desired state you’re working toward.

Visibility
Each Framework section (Mission, Vision, Values, Engagements) can be individually toggled on or off in Plan Settings. If all Framework sections are disabled, the Framework tab will automatically hide from the plan navigation.
Best Practices
- Define mission and vision first — they provide the foundation for everything else in your plan
- Keep values actionable — each value should describe observable behaviors, not just abstract ideals
- Limit values to 5-7 — too many values dilute their impact
- Make engagements specific — identify the exact stakeholder group and what they can expect
- Review annually — framework elements should be relatively stable but may need updates as your organization evolves
