Reports & Dashboards

Pilotus provides dashboards and reporting tools to track progress and share updates with stakeholders.

The Plan Dashboard

When you open a plan, the Dashboard tab gives you a comprehensive overview through multiple cards:

Plan Progress

The overall plan progress is a weighted calculation:

ComponentWeightSource
Indicators (KPIs)40%Average indicator progress
Key Results (OKRs)30%Average key result progress
Actions30%Percentage of actions completed

Dashboard Cards

Plan Info Card — Displays the plan title, status, tags, responsible person, and auto-calculated date range based on all linked elements.

Plan Progress Card — Shows the weighted overall completion percentage with the formula breakdown.

Breakdown Cards (3):

  • Indicators — Total count, number achieved, average progress
  • Key Results — Total count, number achieved, average progress
  • Actions — Total count, number completed, average progress

Exporting Data

Excel Export

  1. Open the plan
  2. Click the “Export” button
  3. The Excel file includes the full plan structure: orientations, objectives, key results, actions, and indicators with their statuses, progress, and responsible persons

Filtering Dashboard Data

Customize your view with filters:

  • Date Range - Show data for specific periods
  • Responsible - Filter by assignee
  • Priority - Show only high-priority items
  • Status - Focus on specific statuses
  • Orientation - Group by strategic direction

Sharing Dashboards

Share plan progress with others:

  1. Direct Access - Give users Reader permission to view dashboards
  2. Excel Export - Export and share data files
  3. Presentations - Use exported data in presentations

Indicators on the Dashboard

Indicators play a significant role in your plan’s health metrics:

  • 40% weight in the overall plan progress calculation — the single largest contributor
  • Each indicator’s progress is calculated as: (current value - baseline) / (final target - baseline)
  • The Indicators Breakdown Card shows at-a-glance metrics
  • The Plan Integrity Card flags indicators without linked objectives

For full details on creating and managing indicators, see Indicators.

Acting on Insights

When dashboards show issues:

  1. Red/Not Achieved Items - Investigate immediately, adjust plans or resources
  2. At Risk Items - Create action plan, may need intervention
  3. Overdue Actions - Reassign, reprioritize, or cancel if no longer relevant
